Seventeen of us set off from Tuckton Tea Rooms on Friday 17th January heading off to Mudeford Spit. The weather was fair and spirits were high. We passed Wick Fields and Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve en route. We walked over the headland to take in the superb views of Christchurch Harbour, Mudeford Spit, Bournemouth and the Purbecks. We had a welcome coffee break on the Spit before we headed back on the lower road. Nearly 6 miles later we arrived back to the car park, exhilarated and with muddy boots!
